Thank you for your interest in EquineM! As this is the ‘about us’ page, let me take some time to briefly introduce myself and EquineM.

My name is Gerben Morsink and I am the founder of EquineM. I have had a passion for equestrian sports from an early age. My parents run a horse breeding farm. From the age of seven I have participated in competitions with our own bred horses. I still compete at home and abroad and together with TeamMorsink run a show jumping stable.

In 2013 I was completing my Master studies in Applied Physics and Business Administration and wondering what would be the next step for me. At the same time, the horses were doing well and the idea of making a stable management tool had been on my mind for some time. It decided to pursue this further and the result was EquineM, an online application for barn management. After a test period within our own jumping stable and a small group of others, EquineM was made available online in 2015.

With Equinem I initially had a company that could be perfectly combined with my riding: the horses in the morning, the computers in the afternoon. In addition, the online stable management system helped me to work very efficiently by providing an overview of the horses, daily activities, mutual communication, feeding, but also about matters such as vaccinations (including waiting times) and farrier.

Over the years the number of EquineM users continued to grow. The application was also further developed and expanded in functionality. As a result EquineM required more and more attention and became difficult to combine with my work with the horses and participating in competitions. It became time for an EquineM team!

The EquineM team now consists of five people with experts in the field of software development, product design and customer service. The EquineM team is committed to continuous innovation and development. We want to provide our current and future users with the best possible service. And we want to keep renewing and improving the EquineM application. Fortunately, we have always been able to rely on the valuable feedback from our users for this as well.
